The First edition of the Good Practices in Export of Health Services Congress  was held on November 8, 2019 at the Imbanaco Medical Center in the city of Cali, Colombia. This Congress, organized in conjunction with the ANDI Health Sector Chamber, Procolombia and the Imbanaco Medical Center, show that the Export of Specialized Health Services behaves as a dynamic strategy for the Health and Tourism Sectors in Colombia.

The central axis of the agenda, revolves around the exposition of good practices in international patient care carried out by the leading Health Institutions in the country, additionally, it had the experience of international experts and the presence of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection and the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism of Colombia on the agenda.

On the other hand, one of the objectives of the Congress was the creation of an articulated intersectoral strategy for the promotion of the Health Sector of the country at the international level, where it is intended to invite the other unions of the tourism sector, regional groups, authorities at the national level and regional promotion entities, among others.
